Born in Philadelphia, PA Michael had an interesting beginning. His birth Mother, unable to care for him, left him in the hospital. At the age of 6 months he was finally placed in the care of a loving family where he has remained. Having also grown up with a speech impediment, Michael had to overcome tremendous hurdles related to self-esteem, self-confidence, learning and self-mastery. Thankfully he did. He went on to get a 3-year R.O.T.C. Scholarship, was commissioned a reserve Lieutenant in the Army, mastered Accelerated Learning techniques and became a professional speaker. Michael has spent the last 16 years designing and teaching workshops on Goal-Setting, Time Management and a variety of other personal, professional and spiritual development areas. He is currently a Professor of Student Success at Hillsborough Community College, SouthShore Campus located in Ruskin, FL where he teaches his students both online and on-campus practical skills for being successful in school and in life. He is also a Relationship Coach and teaches daylong retreats on Relationship enhancement for You&Me.We (www.youandmewe.org).
